This soft cheese is hand-made from stretched Mozzarella which is shaped into a sphere and injected with a mix of fresh cream, resulting in a far creamier and lighter product than Mozzarella. A traditional Apulian delight, burrata from the Maldera farm, is an authentic and delicious accompaniment to crusty bread or on top of pasta or pizza. We recommend serving it with white peaches, Prosciutto di Parma and mint, drizzled with a good extra virgin olive oil. Best served as a summer starter with a glass of rose!
